Hello,

My Vokera boiler has just stoped working. The pilot light is out and it wont start. No hot water. No heating. The pressure appears below 1 bar. could this be the problem? If so how can I tell if the system is a closed system and if there is a filling loop I can add more water to.
Hope you can help.

Many Thanks

The mynute is a system boiler I think  You should have a filling loop under the boiler somewhere, I can't remember if it is built in though. Pressurise it to 1.2 Bar cold.

If it still doesn't work have you got 230V mains going to the boiler? Could simply be a fuse blown in the fused outlet.

Top the pressure up to 1.5bar.

Can you see a spark when you press the ignotor button?

Are you following the instructions for lighting the pilot?

I can't seem to find a filling loop. I've had a look at the manual and followed the instructions to light the pilot light. But I'm not even getting a spark. Does this point to the water pressure?
Thanks

No it points to a knackered Peizo unit - shouldn't be expensive but I suspect the boiler needs a service anyway.

Hopefully the pilot going out is a coincidence.

the filling loop should be around the boiler somewhere.

Look for a silver hose with a valve at one or both ends.

I think you're probably right. It hasn't been serviced for a couple of years. I'll get someone out to look at it.
Thanks for all your help.
Regards
