Volvo V40 stutter

Volvo v40 t4 turbo, petrol, y reg 2001, 83k
Runs fine normally, but on the m/way at 80ish if you put your foot to the floor it starts to stutter, as if the plugs aren't firing (or how i would imagine it feels like!) Anybody any ideas?

Dusty,

You could try cleaning out the air intake flaps etc. with carb. cleaner before getting a diagnostic readout done.
