Have just done some wallpapering using lining paper and used a polycell wallpaper adhesive. Is there any tip for getting edges to stay down?
I always paste to the edges and sometimes lift the edge and repaste if needed when on the wall.Doesnt matter how careful I am I always seem to get some lifting at the seams, any top tips on how to stop this happening?

Always size the wall first. I always solvite, but mix it a bit thicker. It will always dry out but if too thin wont stick and can sometimes dry on the paper before it has properly soaked. The quantities on the reverse of the packet have never ever been accurate.

6 litre per trade packet should do ya..

I somethings run the roller or paste brush along the wall where the joint will be prior to hanging it.

If your painting the walls after, make sure that if you get paste on the face of the pare you wash it before it dries

You need to get this right before it dries. Once paper soaked in adhesive dries it'll be pretty stiff and curled away from the wall; getting it to stick down then will be virtually impossible. Superglue is the only thing I've found that will rescue this situation once it's gone wrong.
