Washing Machine Door Seals

Further to my request of 24 March on how to remove the front sealing wire, I had a brain wave I went on to the Indesit web site and looked in the spare parts section and found the wire seal, it looked like a piece of piano wire joined by a coiled spring, so knowing what I was looking for I looked all around the front of the door seal and right at the bottom I could feel and see the coiled spring. so I can now get a small screw driver underneath and lever the wire off , rest of job is now very simple. I hope this might be of use to someone else.

Been there - done that, what a faff of a job! I thought it was common knowledge, that door seals are easy, is you know how, but massively hard if not! Nice one!
