I have just had a new integrated washer dryer delivered, the workman said it could not be installed because the plastic washing machine pipes would need to run behind the oven. The previous washing machine was in this this position for the past 8 years.

I am being told that the kitchen needs to be rearranged so that the washing machine pipes do not run behind the oven. The kitchen is very small and fitted, moving anything will be incredibly difficult and will ruin the kitchen.

Is there any solution that does not involve moving the appliances? eg) could the washing machine pipes be protected in some way?

Please please help

As above.... no domestic oven should throw out so much heat as to put at risk whats behind or below!
Space is likely to be the greatest issue here but there's generally room at the bottom back of the oven for the pipes to go. It would be a good move to clip them to the wall for neatness....so they can't rub on any sharp edges!
