Washing Machine won't fill

Hi
I was given a new washer dryer when i bought my new house. However, I already had a good washer so didn't use it. I have recently shipped it abroad and have begun to use it there. It worked fine about five times, but now will not fill with any water at all, and the detergent drawer will only open about an inch.

I have checked the water is turned on and it all seems ok - no kinks in the pipes etc. The washer is a Whirlpool AWZ 412.

I really hope someone can help as Whirlpool have been useless.
