Does anyone know whether water meters have any effect on water pressure? Our water pressure isn't very high and yet it is normally very good for this area. We've had Portsmouth Water out once and they said something was stuck on the meter - they freed this up but said it might happen again and if so they'd replace the meter. I just wondered whether a new meter would 'up' the water pressure a bit?
