Hi Guys,

Pumped system has recently started making a lot of noises for about the first 10 minutes when the heating and hot water is turned on, when the timer goes to on, everythign fires up as it should, but for about 10 mins, you can hear water moving around the system, which is pretty damn annoying!

I do get a lot of air in the system, not sure why, but having bleed all the radiators and the AAV in open to expel air, its still makes this noises, it sounds a little lit a running tap.

The only work that has been done, was the addition of TRV's to 2 bedroom radiators, these are both bi-directional so assume that is does not matter if they were put on the wrong side.

All rads in the house warm up nicely.

Many thanks

Check the f&e tank is full, then check there is not a blockage in the cold feed to the system where it tees into the system pipe work.

All this assumes that you have an open vented system.

Yes, open vented system, and yes to the f&e being full, surely if the cold feed was blocked, when I drained down to change the TRV's I would have had a problem refilling? Had no problems refilling the system so assumed this was not blocked.
