Water pressure for new boiler

I had a quote from a local heating company and that is pretty much what they said. They wanted to take a 22mm pipe from the incoming cold feed straight up into my loft where the boiler will be situated.

Something the water board guy said this morning was that he always turned stop taps fully on and then back quarter of a turn as they are more likely to seize metal to metal.

Do you have a link to a picture of the stop taps you recommend?

I never recommend anything where I have not been involved or seen an installation.

I may suggest though!

However, you should be guided by advice from your chosen gas registered installer.

Some do have rather fixed views on how things should be done. Most think that they know everything about heating and dont like to have that illusion broken.
