Water tank container not filling up, no bath

can we see a photo of the fitted valve? I'd be interested to see how it differs in size

I can see a steel pipe running up to near that cistern, wonder if its a 3/4" supply and ballvalve?

Basically they fitted the original back after cleaning it, some black stuff came out of it and then they put it back.

Since then water is good and I can hear water is being replinished.

Sorry I did not take photo of the valve when they took it out.

Thanks every one from bottom of my heart. This is best forum to put forward such issues.

Hope so it will remain like this, only thing feel bad is that while they were there new one I bought from screwfix could have been fitted, anyway hope original gives me 30 more years
