WB 440cdi greenstar question

Hi guys

After some advice, have the above boiler but require to do some central heating pipework mods over a couple of days. Is it ok to isolate the central heating side on the service valves Flow/Return on the boiler but continue using the hot water. Obviously if I break into the CH pipework the boiler pressure would drop to zero without closing these valves. Advice would be appreciated

can you not do all the pipework, then turn it all off just while you reconnect and commission new bits.
