The long winded version is below. In short, does a pan connector (at the end that does not connect to the WC spigot) connect to a fitting (i.e. elbow) or does it go into 110mm pipe?

I’m renovating my bathroom and now is a good time to renew some of the soil pipe. As you can see from pic WC1 the original soil pipe is both soiled and poorly connected. I’d also like to try and refit the close coupled WC to the wall as opposed to the way it is spaced off from the wall at the moment (please see WC6). A swan neck pan connector would still result in a (smaller) batten fixed to the wall.

I want to ask about pipe run and connectors. I want to be sure that I have the right materials when I (slightly) reroute and need to get it right first time. Please can you tell me if this is sounds right:
1. Cut into 110mm white plastic pipe in pic WC1/WC2 (effectively removing all the soiled section of the white pipe and the awful connection to the WC) and attach a double socket connector:

There’s also a single socket connector:

2. Insert a short length of 110mm plastic pipe into the double socket connector.

3. Attach an elbow to the new short length of 110mm:

I’m unsure about step 3 to put it mildly. I understand the need for 92.5 degree elbows for a gravity fall. As I see it, I need a 90 degree elbow that the pan connector can be inserted into. I can’t see one on screwfix. Also, does the pan connector slot into one end of a double socket elbow (I suspect yes) or does the pan connector slot into the non-socket end of a single socket elbow (I suspect no):

Finally – can step 3 be carried out so that the elbow appears to the left of the WC spigot? This would allow me to do away with the batten and fix the WC cistern to the wall. What (preferably rigid and not flexible) pan connector would attach to the WC spigot the branch left and then down to connect the WC to an elbow to the left of the WC spigot?
