Weird central heating system- help

This is my best guess looking at what goes where....

1 - Radiator (goes under bath) also splits to do bath and shower

2 - Goes to Radiator

3- Goes to radiator

4 - Goes to radiator

The two other independant pipe feed the cold water tap and the toilet system.

There is a lot going from one pipe (rad, bath and shower) or is this just me?

How can I bleed the main storage tank?

Cheers for all your help and encouragement. ;)

Not at all convinced - but then I'm no expert.
Assuming you are using the numbers I used in my post - which of course is a wild assumption:
(1) and (2) almost certainly don't connect to radiators anywhere.
(3) and (4) might well connect to the feed and return for the radiators. Although that would be a touch eccentric it's almost the way my system used to be. Feed to the coil in the hot water tank circulated by convection only; the pump operated only on the feed to the radiators.

There should be no need to bleed this tank. Somewhere there will be an overflow - probably in the loft from (1) - that would also vent any air that happened to get in there.

But this has become seriously eccentric - not least because now you seem to have SIX pipes? Your previous post had five - the four connected to the tank and the one (that you referred to as "A 4th thin pipe".

I would be interested in the views of real experts on the suggestion in my last post?

post a couple of pics

it's got me going now

Can you add attachments here?

That would be a lot easier.

email and I will send the pictures.

There are definately 6 pipes in total. 4 coming to or from the tank and 2 "others"

Or email me and I will forward the pictures (email address in profile)

quick update....

Did some jiggery pokery with the pipes from the tank (thanks Kev).

Managed to bleed one of the radiators by wiggling a safety pin in the valve opening.

Now have hot water and a decent shower. :p

New system on order, but in the meantime its all working.

Thanks for everyones help and advice.
