I have an Indirect hot water and heating fully pumped system. It has come to my notice that main storage tank over flows whenever heating or hot water comes on. The radiators in the lounge remain cold all the time. The upstairs radiators need bleeding every other day. Any suggestions, please.

If it really is venting over the cold water supply cistern then its piped wrongly. I suspect its venting over a small tank called the heating header !

Whichever, its called pumping over and it means your system is badly sludged up.

The best solution is to have it power flushed by someone who understands heating systems and knows which chemicals to use ( which depends on the type of blockage/sludge and the the layout ).
