I have some weird problem going on with a recently painted wall. Someone asked me what it is and I’m not sure to be honest.

Has anyone seen this before? It looks crystalline to me and under the paint?

A couple of days ago it was not present. Thanks.

Damp in walls which creates that blistering.

Blup

I agree with @blup that it may be a sign of damp.

If moisture in the plaster cannot escape, it often, but not always, blisters the paint. The time taken to blister is, in part, a function of the degree of moisture.

Can you take a series of photos of the outside and zoom out on the interior photo. It may help others to suggest the source of the moisture.
