Hi there I have stripped my bathroom back to the brickwork which on three sides is non-cavity and external and was wondering how to get a smooth wall look without tiles, so would I just plasterboard and then paint with eggshell say or would I need to do more? I was going to paint the brickwork with a liquid dpm, fix batons insulate with cellotex then 9.5mm wallboard, joint filler, sand down then paint 2 coats of eggshell. Does that sound ab out right or am I missing something? Can i paint the wallboard face and edges with dpm to protect it further before painting? Cheers
