What are the differences?

I have in the past wired several houses (2 being my own) but non since 2004...

What are the changes/upgrades I need to know about as several people have told me there are only a few.

If no-one can help directly where can I get these details. The property is a cottage in Caithness (holiday home for renting)...

never worked north of the border, but from what I can glean from scanning through http://www.opsi.gov.uk/legislation/scotland/ssi2004/20040406.htm, you need a warrant now to do electrical work in scotland..?

also the regs have changed so you need to re-familiarise yourself with that too.. ( things such as dual RCD boards or RCBO's to protect cabled burried in plaster and not protected etc.. )
