Hi All,
Can anyone tell me what these parts are? I'm the generally nosey type that likes to know how stuff in my house works, and I understand what most of the system is doing, but I have know idea what these are.
Google is not much help as "funny T shaped pipe with a screw top going into hot water tank" gets me nothing of use!!
Also, the house was empty from October last year until we bought it a few months ago. When we fired up the boiler it sounded like a fair bit of air in the system. I bleed all the radiators a fair few times and they seem fine, but what the hot water comes on there is still a bit of air type noise at the boiler, and the pump on the airing cupboard sounds like it's got a lot of really small air bubbles going through it..... more like it's pumping sand if that makes sense (probably not). Can the heat water side of things get air in and can it be bleed?? It's due a service shortly so is this something I should get the engineer to look at whilst he's here??
Thanks in advance.
