Ok so I've over ordered some quarry dust (massively!).

I've got some foundations to do so thought I could use it in the concrete mix but what ratio it safe.

I understand to much will weaken the mix.

There's plenty of stone in it up to maybe 4mm.

Thanks,

Po.

Depends what the foundations are for. Garden shed etc then pretend it's sharp sand and do a 1:2:4.

Best concrete I ever made was with some leftover 40mm to dust MOT - but only for a garage base.

Sorry I did mean to say the foundations I could use them for are for a raised patio (600mm) so nothing to substantial.

So I should be fine getting some 20mm clean.

Want sure if I should add some sharp sand but it's getting hard to get around here, it's all recycled stuff unless you pay over the odds from the few who do it.

Cheers,

Po.

Yes, 20mm stone, it looks dusty enough as is for a patio.
