Hi.

I performed some searches on this forum. None seem to cover what I am after.

1. How is hot water preassure achieved ?
I just need confirmation that preassue is obtained from the height (or in my case lack of it) of the cold water want in the loft.

If my assumption to this question is correct. Then I think I've answered my problem, the tank is on the other side of the house from the tank, and does not have any stilts to raise the tank

2. What option with the least impact can I use to increase the pressure ? I looked at a power show pump I have spare, and it talks about running a separate cold and hot feed to the bath/shower which I can't do in the short term

My lady is just about ready to get rid of me. So anything to help

thanks guys

Take the lady out for a nice meal!

Think of a way to lift the cistern about 1 m minimum.

Consider increasing the outlet pipework to 28 mm from cistern to bathroom.
