Hello, i am embarking on an extention to my kitchen. The span is approx 2.7 metres long and it is needing to support the outside wall which has at the moment a window and a external door way in it. Also will be supporting a new flat roof off it. I need to remove the wall to double the size of the kitchen. I will be getting building control involed to do everything by the book. I am doing this on a budget so any help would be much appreciated. Also the house is a semi-detached ex council house which was built in the 50's approx.
What size rsj's do i need?
