Hello all,

Looking for recommendations of thermostatic mixer valves for running a shower off a combi boiler. This is for the long-term, so I want the "rolls-royce" in terms of reliability / maintainability etc.

Anyone got any tips?

thanks in advance,
Matt

Combis and Thermostatic valves do sometimes interact badly; which is why Mira and others do "Pressure Balanced" mixers. I'd have one of that type, because combi performance can deteriorate and start to matter ..

thanks for the tip ChrisR, I didn't know about that.

Is Mira a decent brand to go for then? I've also been recommended the Grohe 3000 - any thoughts on these?

cheers,
Matt

Everything is crap so take your pick and choice and pay your money, nothing personal it's just how it is.
