What white filler or sealant would you recommend to tidy up this gap? There are several!

The ceiling's painted with white Dulux Light and Space, the light fittings are pushed in as far as they'll go, I just want to buy something in B&Q or similar to run a finger-ful around the rims to tidy them up.

I really don't want to be taking them out/levelling the ceiling plaster etc!

White decorators caulk, or ready mixed polyfiller in a tube.

Does not look like you need anything other than fitting the lights correctly, they fit flush to ceiling when installed correctly. Why would you not want to do the job correctly?

The ceiling isn't flat. So you can't fit a flat object, the rim around the light, snugly against a curved object, being the ceiling.

The photo reveals close contact in the middle, a gap either side.

And as stated, I'm not about to re-skim the ceiling to remove the minor visual irritation of this small gap!
