When starting a completely new bathroom installation, does it make more sense to lay floor tiles first and fix the toilet on top, or secure the toilet to the plywood floor and tile around it?

Thanks!

I would fit toilet, then tile, you havnt said what type of tile, remember though if they are ceramic tiles this will have the effect of lowering the toilet..(vinyl not thick enough to worry about) So give it a thought
Edit
Spelling mistakes & I wrote the oposite of what I ment. Tile First.

Tile first then fit the toilet, not only is it far more professional in appearance but it's also far more hygenic.

The only time I've ever tiled around a toilet is when it's been an existing vitorian number that was fixed to the cement floor with more cement.
