Hi all,
I've had planning permission to do hip to gable loft conversion . While the scaffolding is up, I thought I may as well have the wall ties done (it's your typical 1930's semi). Then I thought may as well have the old rendering hacked off and redone. I thought i'd combine all these tasks while the scaffolding was up and have them done all at once. So I need to do:
1. Build gable up in block.
2. Sort out wall ties.
3. Re-render.
The tradesmen team nearly ready to go on the loft conversion. Then I was worried though that hacking and heavy drilling after having a new gable built may weaken it?
So my wuestion is, do I go ahead with new gable along with hacking/rendering. Or do I leave some time between loft conversion and hacking/rendering? Or do I have the hacking/rendering done first. Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
