Whirlpool 6/7 flashes,won't fill....help!

Hi there, I have a Whirlpool DWHB00 that won't fill and shows either 6 or 7 flashes.As per previous posts, I have tried removing the water chamber and the flow meter is moving freely and the reed in the sender unit looks ok. Do I need to reset the machine after trying these things or should it run straight off if it is ok? Banging my head against the wall now as nothing seems to work. Any idea's would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, yes there's definately water going in.

so if the water is going in then have you checked the water chamber on the side of the d/w there is probably some sort of flow/pressure valve..
