Whirlpool ADP 4501/5 WD Dishwasher

Hi

I have a problem. The water comes in and goes out, and heats up. It is not being pushed around the washer, the black grill inside the "sump" appears to be clear of all gunk. the water is getting to the bottom of the whirly thing but not being pushed up to it.

any thoughts

Possibly the circulation pump capacitor has gone low in value. (Rear of machine near or attached to the motor.)

When this goes low there is no 'kick' to get the pump motor turning.

i will look att hee cpacitor, any idea what reainding I am lookng for,

the water jets are clear, I havee taken them out to eliminate them.,.

If you have a capacitance tester you can test the capacitors

The reading you are looking for should be on the capacitor and will typically be between 6 and 8 micro Farads
