Hi

I recently installed a Whirlpool ADP4601 dishwasher - brand new - out the box...

It works really well.

Just a couple of teensy problems:-

1) .. is that I get a tingle off the stainless steel interior if I touch it...

I've measured it with a voltmeter and it's 50V!!

It's annoying, more than anything else. Not a problem, if I remember not to touch the interior..or wear rubber gloves and wellington boots...

Has anyone any bright ideas to fault find and solve this?

Oh, the other problem?

I bought it brand new in the UK and took to France to install in a property there...

Which is why I'm seeking help here! - Otherwise I wouldn't hesitate to call Whirlpool to sort it!!

Any sensible suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks

50 volts to what? Measure live & neutral to earth & each other at the machine. And at the socket with the machine disconnected & post the results. Wouldn't recommend using it in that situation. Is the socket rcd protected?
