Whirlpool AWO3751 washing machine

I have a Whirlpool AWO3751 washing machine that wont wind up to full spinning speed, carbon brushes ok pressure switch and hose are clear and switch appears ok. (blown down hose and can hear switch operating. Can anybody out there shed a light on what the problem might be . Ta
