Whirlpool dishwasher won't start (Model DU1100)

After 2 1/2 years of working just fine, our Whirlpool Quiet Partner II (model # DU1100XTPS7) just stopped working. It must have quit working during the final rinse of the last load of dishes we did, because there is still 2 inches of water on the bottom but the dishes were cleaned. The power buttons don't even light up. The door locks fine, it is getting power through the wires, there is no reset button...
If anyone can help, we would greatly appreciate it!
