I've got a Whirlpool DWF416 that is currently faulty.
Its flashing 7 times and when we try to put it on a cycle it tries to start and then starts beeping it's little socks off.

Can anyone please help?

Yep. It seems to have a problem with water coming in.
Look in the bowl area, right hand side is a black grid, check it isn't blocked up. Don't poke too hard at it or you'll burst the diaphragm.
Check the inlet hose hasn't kinked, failing that I'm afraid you're looking at replacing parts or an engineer call.

Thanks ever so much for your reply. I will relay your comments to my husband and let you know how he get's on.

Thanks

Have looked at you messages and our dishwasher has just started doing the same thing. I have checked the black grid thing mentioned and that is OK. Did you manage to fix it or did you have to get an engineer in?
