Just had a window replaced in the bathroom with a smaller one so the inner and outer walls have been bricked up by 3 courses. I am now left with a cavity gap between inner wall (new bricked up courses) and the outer wall. I want to bridge this to create a level surface for tiling on to.
Any suggestions on best way to do this?
How should I bridge the gap and fix the surface to the brick as there is no ledge on the outer wall for the surface to rest on so it will have to rest on the inner brick course only?
Do I need a cavity closer under the surface first?
Many thanks.
P.S let me know if you think this is in the wrong forum thread and I'll move.
