Hi all, i have bought a Salus rt500rf to work remotely from the boiler, as a room thermostat. The wiring diagram with the product shows 4 wires to be connected 1 live 1neutral and 2 wires as a switch to be wired into the place where an existing loop wire is. Now on a link for wiring it says to loop common(1 of the switch terminals) and connect to the live on the receiver,? so im confused because i have conflicting advice. Does anyone know the correct method i dont want to overload either the boiler or the thermostat.
Its 240v with a 3amp switched fuse spur, the loop inside the boiler has 3 terminals (red, blue, grey) but the loop is only using 2 (red and blue), anyone know which is correct? Thanks everyone
