Hi,

Wondering if anyone can help me with this!?!
I was stupid enough do not note down what wires were where when I took off a double light switch and I now cant seem to get it to work properly! The switch is just for 2 lights in one room.

I have two grey flexs coming into the socket, 1 contains: 1red, 1black, 1 earth. The other contains 1red and 1 earth. The original double switch also had a red wire wire by its self.

I have bought a bog standard double switch with the usual L1,L2 and COM on each switch!

I can get one light to go on a off but not both independently.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Also, dont know if it makes a difference but the switch I am doing away with was a double dimmer.

Regards

Thanks for the reply, but just to clarify do I need to put the first red into Com and have another small piece or red going from Com to Com? Effectively having 2 wires in the first Com?
