I have a Potterton Boiler and a separate tank for the water, about a year ago I had the NEST thermostat installed. I have just discovered that my hot water is now only being controlled by the use of a Potterton PTT2 cylinder thermostat. This means the water is heating is on all the time but being controlled by the cylinder thermostat. I would like to install a timer, so I can turn of the water when away and also place it on timer.

I have a Drayton LP241
N
L
1 HW off
3 HW on

The PTT2 cylinder thermostat,
1H
2C
3L
4TL
5N

Can someone please tell me what wiring I would need to do, I believe a N,L and a return Live, is required to LP241, but do I take that out of the PPT2 box etc

Thanks
