I have always been disappointed by what I hear of female plumbers.

Female boiler engineers however often seem to above average.

Not totally sure although ‘’dick & balls’’ sounds like an interesting company name – your probably find an uptake from individuals looking for plumbers in Brighton....xx

Out of curiosity i have just ran a Google search for ''men pluming'' – should have know what results I would have got on that one!

Still does mean that you could take up any online marketshare from people looking for male orientated plumbing companies and not gay porn...!

Here we go again boiler engineers and plumbers , I know hundreds of good male and female plumbers , but I don,t know any engineers of any description.

A friend of mine had her bathroom done some years ago by a company who only employed female tradespeople. The list of mistakes was almost endless. They wanted a tiled floor and because it was an upstairs bathroom, the company put 6mm ply over the existing floorboards (without levelling the floorboards). The plumbing leaked (albeit very slightly).All of the plumbing was done with compression joints, not one slodered joint anywhere. When a female chippie arrived to put skirting on, she admitted that she'd never fitted skirting before. Didn't know how to scribe internal joints nor mitre external ones. The lass that painted the bathroom had great cutting in skills. The ceiling line looked like the Himalayas'.
I'm not saying that all female tradesmen are like this, but my friend was most unimpressed.

A friend had a shower room fitted by a female plumber and the only time I have heard her crying was when the new wood floor was spoilt by a leak from her work!

So tell me how many boiler engineers do you know, and by engineer I mean ones that have a degree in the relevant subject and not one that as nothing to do with boilers/combustion
