I am interested in a property which has wood framed double glazing but i am keen to change it over to the UPVC double glazing. there r 8 windows in the house. can anyone shed some lite on regarding the cost including labour (are there any advantages to changing if it to UPVC if it were to be expensive)
Many thanks for the advice

Wood lasts much longer and can then be repaired. PVC doesn't last long and can't be mended. PVC is made out of our finite supplies of oil and comes via the petrochemicals industry, whilst wood grows on trees. Wood looks good, PVC looks horrid.
