Hi,

My boiler keeps blowing the 2A fuse at position F1. I've replaced fuse with the timer bypassed and still after 20 seconds of firing-up the fuse blows. Does anybody know why this is happening? Thanks.

Get a gas engineer in. One part inside may be faulty and the fuse has blown for your safety.

Daniel.

Thanks Daniel great advice. I've replaced the pump, timer and pressure guage (was faulty anyway). Does anybody else know what the issue could be? The bugger is firing and running for 20 seconds. Would the fan be the issue? Fuse F2 is fine. Would recent bad weather have an influence perhaps? Anyone? Ta.

So exactly why were the pump, timer and pressure gauge faulty, what experience do you have with boilers

None, I expect as he seems to be replacing boiler parts without any reason.

Would have been cheaper to have called an engineer!
