Hi. Have a bit of a problem with a slight leak from the diverter valve in the boiler. The water is leaking from the black plastic cover from the micro switch assembly. Is this a repairable thing or has the complete valve need to be replaced?
Does anyone know if the scaling inside a water to water heat exchanger can be removed by one of the comercial descaling liquids you can buy?
Thanks for any help.

probably leaking from the gland around the diaphragm pin. the end of the diverter needs to come off and the seal renewing from the inside. can be a straightforward enough job or descend into a nightmare. the brass nut inside has a tendency to stick and theres been plenty i have binned for not moving.
