Hi,

I do have a current problem and am about to replace the water diverting valve, but unsure if this second problem is related...

I am finding that the boiler loses water, and I have to constantly have to top it up every couple of weeks. Can't see any leaks apart from the occasional small amount of water from the diverting valve. I'm able to get to all of the pipework in the house due to having a cellar, but can't see anywhere it's leaking from. Could it be evaporating?

Once the water amount in the boiler gets too low, the boiler starts clicking and then shuts down. Is this normal?

All help would be most appreciated.

Cheers, Lee

Check the 'Thermal store' based low on the boiler that will pin hole.
