Yale Smartphone Alarm and Internet Connection

Two years ago I bought and installed a Yale Smartphone Alarm system.

At the time I bought it I was told (by Yale) that it would work on a wifi system which was one of the main selling points for me (the other being the Smartphone facility and the wireless nature of it)

Anyway, came to install it and found that I had to hard wire it into my internet hub but didn't think anything of it at the time as my wifi was a bit hit and miss at the time.

Now as I no longer have a hub box as I now have a mobile internet instead I'm struggling to get it to work.

Having spoken to Yale they've now informed me that it needs to be hard wired to work and have apologised to me for giving me the incorrect information but this doesn't really help me as I'm now stuck with trying to work out how to get it to work.

Anyone got any ideas please?

You could buy a wireless network bridge, something like this in bridge mode would give you a RJ45 connection to your wifi network https://www.scan.co.uk/products/edi...mbps-access-point-range-extender-wisp-2x-high
