We had this shower professionally installed last December. We purposely bought another 9.5kw shower in order not to have to change the wiring. We have a fuse dedicated to it, in the fuse-box cupboard and the length of (6mm) wiring is about 15 feet. Now, if it is running for >10 minutes, it stops and, on inspection, the fuse has tripped in the fuse box cupboard (there is no apparent evidence of burning). This has happened twice in the last 4 days.
Does anybody knows what might be causing this? We will get out the electrician who fitted it, but, in the meantime, is it dangerous to use? Thanks.

Fuses blow and MCB's trip, which one is it?

Also what current rating is it?

Are you sure your last shower was also a 9.5Kw?
If it's been running fine since last December then it's possible the shower could have developed a fault.

Suggest you call the electrician that fitted it and get him to have a look and diagnose the fault.

The shower is still under the manufactures warranty so it's best you don't do anything with it and don't use it until it has been checked out.
