AFAIAA, the addition of any tetra-ethyl-lead as an 'anti-knocking agent' (resulting in higher octane fuels) has been completely banned in nearly all countries, other than in aviation fuel.

Aviation has a few exceptions for various things. Another one is portable fire extinguishers containing Halon, no longer permitted for general use due to the the fact they harm the ozone layer in the way CFCs do, however aviation has an exception IIRC due to no drop in replacement.

I still use lead solder on everything. The temperature required to make lead free flow is too high and ends up doing far too much damage to what ever you're trying to solder.

At my previous employers when they finally decided to do away with leaded solder someone from QA came upto the R&D dept with a bucket of full reels.

So we all have an ample supply to see us out
