hello,
my zanussi 1050 has stopped draining the water inside the machine.
i emptied it using a bucket from the filter, cleaned the filter but to no avail.
i can see that there is water inside the filter hole when i take out the filter.

any ideas guys?
thanks

Hi

The pump would be the obvious choice. Either something could be jammed in the impellor stopping it from operating or it's quite common for the impellor to come away from the pump shaft altogether.

You can sometimes see the impellor when you remove the filter. If you can, Just double check to make sure nothing is restricting the impellor from going round. ( coins/bra wires/screws/hair clips)

Does your machine have a drain only position? If so put it on that programme and see if you can hear the pump running. That will only prove you have supply though.

Looking from the front, which side is the filter on?

OOO. I forgot. Make sure you unplug it before you go poking around! :D
