Wooden post not the correct diameter. It will fray and move.
Should be a second "Clamp near the bottom.
Seeing that, now is the back secured? |

Ahh i see, the bottom will be Pegged down with 6 metal pegs ( it allready weighs a good 5 kilo), will bolt the post at the bottom , the back is fixed to the post using the dish's pole clamps, usually used to secure to the bracket, as the pole is the same diameter |

Noooooooooooooooo the post in the insert will rattle.
As it is only tied in at the top, with that clamp screw ( the one just down from the top of the metal pole). |

You are confusing "tripod" and "monopod". There is no triangulation, so it can never be as stable as a tripod. |
