My son was born at home, not planned, and eventhough it was the most stressfull time of my life it was one of the best memories of my life. I delivered him on the sofa, all went well but it was a spaced out experience.

Took 1 hour 45 mins for the emergancy services to arrive, 2 hour for the mid wife!! We are in a remote area, but not that remote!!

He came into the world with his family around him, two adult daughters were there also.

Proud dad!

6'2"!!! icon_eek.gif I'm willing to concede that may have been a little more eye watering for your partner than the normal pea shelling effort required. icon_twisted.gif

And that's how I wound up with the Black Eye doctor! icon_wink.gif

Enjoy it Peaps! Make the most, it's a miracle, nothing comes close. You are very fortunate. Make it count, you can do something amazing.

Go into fatherhood 100%, my Dad is and was an amazing man/rolemodel, I hope in time your child thinks the same... I'm sure they will.
