Any reason why cable for heating controls can't be run in the same hole as heating pipe?
The electrician has threaded his cable through the same drilled hole which I've put my plastic heating pipe through. Not sure if this is ok. Should I get him to re run it in it's own hole?
Cheers.

Electric cables should be protected from heat.

A spacing of at least 25 mm is usually adequate.

In reality its not meant to be done but in 99% of houses there will be a cable somewhere touchin or in very close proximatey to a heating pipe.

I'm guessing the pipes where already there when he ran his cables?
