We have had an Ideal Combi Logic 30 fitted on Wednesday the 8th Jan and have never had a warmer house. We have since fitted a new radiator in the bathroom and having had minor leaks with the fittings we have had to de-pressurise and re-fill the system three times.

Overnight Friday we found we'd not quite knocked off the re-fill tap so the pressure was 3.5 bar when we awoke Saturday morning. Couple of drain and re-fill yesterday to complete the radiator job and all sorted. Checked pressure wasn't rising too high yesterday evening after heating had been on and found pressure gauge ready 0 bar. Heating working fine, hot water working fine, no low pressure codes.

What the hell is going on!? Can anyone help??

If we had a leak that had caused the boiler to lose all pressure surely we would have no hot water, no heating and a low pressure code flashing up.

New pipework is fine now, no leaks anywhere

Maybe a trap of air found it's way to the auto sir vent in the boiler, it doesn't take much for pressure loss.

Weap is most likely though. Monitor it, if it drops again, you must have an issue

If you over filled it again, the water might of expanded and been expelled through your PRV to outside causing pressure loss

+1

And add some more inhibitor to the system as you've drained it so many times.
