If you're suggesting that she was nominated as some token representative, you're way off the mark. It's the genre of her music that decides whether she is elligible or not, not the colour of her skin.

If you're suggesting that she was nominated, not her music, well someone has to perform it, it doesn't perform itself. Some artists perfom music better than others. Therefore someone wins, and their skin colour is immaterial. Simple init?

OK, so I'm gonna sit on the fence here and I'm setting light to my nether regions agreeing with the reindeer etc, but I do not find the MOBO''s racist.
In fact, if it weren't for the Blues, perhaps artists such as Clapton, The Beatles, Rolling Stones etc would never have come to fruition.
What I do object to is, as stated previously, The Black Policeman Association etc. It would be deemed racist if it were White only Policeman etc.
