Peugeot 307 oil filter.

Hi,

Where do I find the oil filter on a 307? It doesn't seem to hang down on show like other models. The new filter I've bought is plastic with a paper filter in the middle and comes with small rubber o rings. Any tips on where its located and how to change would be appreciated.

Is your engine a 1.6 16v, if it is then the filter is to the side if the "Cat", under a black plastic cover.

Thats the one - hex shaped nut. Im fine with draining the oil, but how do you take the old filter out of the plastic casing and put the new one in?

Undo the hex nut, then simply pull old filter out and replace with new.

its not a nut as such, but a plastic moulded shaped nut.
